February 2020: Shortlisted for “Floral Art” Category at Chelsea Flower Show with new sustainable flowers company Metafleur. February 2020: Natural History themed evening featuring six hanging hoops of airplants and British foliage, accompanied by approx 250 re-cyclable concrete ring based supports decked in micro-plants and succulents at BBC Showcase, M&S Arena, Liverpool. September 2019: “Avant Gardeners Collective” Creation of floral accessories including adhering grass to dancers for Livia Rita, performance / conceptual artist at Brunel Museum. June 2019: “World Oceans Day” creation of a foraged maritime installation using offcuts from the Royal Parks at the National Maritime Museum. 8th June 2020: World Oceans Day: Antarctica, Engine room of the World online video exploring chi kung and flower arranging and systems of balance between hot and cold circumpolar currents. Designed to suggest how our own realigning can hopefully be reflected in larger systems throughout the world which we must respond to collectively in order to re-address the harmony. February 2019: “One Planet: Seven Worlds” Launch for BBC Showcase, featuring seven continent themed hanging installations and matching table-centrepieces at M&S Arena, Liverpool. December 2018: “Zinc Violet” Performance for Sarah Boulton’s exhibition at Mason’s Yard, London. September 2018: Reed installation for Haseeb Ahmed’s exhibition Wind Egg at MHKA, Antwerp. October 2018: Queer Fashion Week realization of floral accessories for Livia Rita’s collection at Museum of Childhood, Bethnal Green. Spring 2018: Runner – Up with Moon Viewing Platform design forPatmore Estate, as part of Chelsea Fringe. Spring 2018: Magasine HVTN V.4.1, edited by Iris Colomb and Andrew Wells, teaming artists and poets who respond to each other works; I was paired with Camilla Nelson. February and June 2017: ‘Blue Planet II’ made themed floral centerpieces for preview and underwater floral display for launch, NEC Liverpool and Imax. November 2016: ‘Fair Coniston’ floral workshop with local community,Grizedale Arts, Lake District.
SELECTED EXHIBITIONS / ARTS EDUCATION & PERFORMANCE November 2020 – January 2021: “Flipside Gardens” – JGM Gallery as part of Merry – Go – Round Group Winter Exhibition. Exhibited small floral tapestries designed to draw our attention to changing of seasons in works that can be exhibited any way up and together comprise the gardening year. October 2020: ‘The Cars that Ate Paris’ Collective Memory Collective – A group of collaborators coming together to remember and re-enact cult classic movies. For online “Personal Space” program at Surface Gallery, Nottingham. September 2020: “Fieldworks” – Glasscloud Gallery joint exhibition with Hannah Luxton in the windows of Camden Peoples’ Theatre. Displayed floral tapestries relate to permaculture Farmer Masanobu Fukuoka’s relationship to nature. May 2020 onwards – Started Permaculture Bookclub with Amy McDonnell (Tate Communities curator) inviting artists and friends to learn more about Permaculture with us. Meeting every six weeks to discuss a permaculture book and build our own seasonally organized booklist. May 2020: “Gatherers” a digital and physical Exhibition at OmVed Gardens in collaboration with Thrown Ceramics Gallery, looking at sustainable use of materials working creating foraged arrangements within the exhibition.
